Nationality - a historically established community of people arising from individual tribes during the collapse of tribal relations, at an early stage of feudalism based on subsistence farming , before the emergence of strong economic ties and a single economy .
It is characterized by the unity of language , territory , customs and culture . A higher stage in the development of society is the people .
The term "nationality" does not have clear criteria and is interpreted differently in various dictionaries, and in our time it is often used as synonyms for the words ethnos , people . In modern literature there is a discussion about the signs and correlation of nationality and nation [1] .
Authors of the times of romantic nationalism understood the term “ national spirit” (for example, such is its meaning in the slogan “ Orthodoxy, Autocracy, Nationality ”).
