Glau, Summer

Summer Glau was born July 24, 1981 in San Antonio . In the family she is the eldest of three daughters. Her father was an architect , and her mother was a schoolteacher.

Already at the age of five Summer begins to practice ballet . To concentrate on the ballet, Summer leaves school and moves to home schooling . As a ballerina, she performed all her childhood, until, due to a serious leg injury, she did not have to pause in classes. At this time, visiting her friends in Los Angeles , she gets a job there, and later, in 2002, moves with the intention of becoming an actress.

Her first role Summer played in the series of Joss Wade “ Angel ” in the series “Waiting in the Wings”, in which she danced “Giselle”, demonstrating her ballet mastery. Soon after, Weedon invites her to take part in the filming of the series " Firefly " in the role of River, which premiered in the United States on September 20, 2002.

Then Summer appeared in the episode "Love Conquers Al" of the TV series " Detective Rush ", after that she got a small role in the movie "Sleepover", playing there a girl selling tickets. Glau has performed small roles on the series CSI: Crime Scene (Whats Eating Gilbert Grissom?) And Division (Crystal Burns character, girl Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Summer played Tess Dorner, a girl with schizophrenia, on the series “ 4400 ”. Later, Summer starred in the full-length films Mammoth and Sarah's Dedication.

In the series Terminator: Battle for the Future , the pilot series of which was released on January 13, 2008 , Summer played the role of Cameron Phillips , the terminator sent back in time to protect Sarah and John Connor . In the Demon Hand series there are several scenes where Cameron dances ballet.

In 2009, Summer played herself in the 17th episode of the 2nd season of the comedy series The Big Bang Theory , where the main characters discover that their favorite actress is traveling with them on the train. In the same year, Glau appeared in several episodes of the series “The Doll's House ” in the role of Bennet. In 2010, she played one of the main roles in the series “Cloak”. After that, she sporadically appeared in the series “ People Alpha ”. In 2013–2014, Isabel Roshev played a minor role in the second season of the Strela television series. In the last episode, Summer's character was killed and that’s where her participation in the series ended.

Summer met with photographer Cooper Reynolds ^[2] . She later married actor Val Morrison. The couple have two daughters: Milena Jo (born January 2015) ^[3] and Sunny Izabo (born October 2017) ^[4] .
